How to Use the Color Palette Generator:

First, you can choose the style in which random colors will be generated. Choosing a style is optional; by default, Any is selected, which generates colors in a wide range of styles. For instance, select Pastel. In this case, when you click the Generate button, you'll get five random colors in soft pastel shades. If you only want dark random colors, choose Dark.

The color palette generator area displays five random shades. Each color block has additional features you can use. Firstly, when you hover over a color, an icon appears, which, when clicked, allows you to view the selected color fullscreen.

Secondly, below is the icon for selecting or changing a color if you're not satisfied with the randomly generated color or want to adjust it slightly. Clicking the icon opens a color selection palette. Choose your desired color.

Thirdly, even lower is the unlocked padlock icon , which, when clicked, allows you to lock a color you like. The lock will become locked and gently blink, signaling that the color is locked and won't change during the next color generation. This is the essence of the generator—to lock and adjust the colors you like.

Once you've chosen all the colors, you can save the palette by clicking the Save button. An image in the png format will be saved. Note that you can save the palette without locking all the colors.

Below the locking icons are the codes of the generated colors in the HEX format. To copy a color, simply click on it, and it will be copied.

Additionally, our palette generator performs a basic check of the contrast between the background and text colors. If you see dark icons and code on a generated color, light shades shouldn't be used for text, and vice versa. Note that this is a basic contrast check. For more accurate contrast checks, use our specialized generator.
